Which HDFC credit card should I choose?+
Start from the published bar, which removes most of the list: HDFC Shoppers Stop publishes no credit score requirement, PhonePe Uno publishes 700, and the other six ask 750. Then choose on spending — IRCTC for train travel, Swiggy BLCK for heavy ordering, Biz First if self-employed, PhonePe Uno for UPI, and MoneyBack Plus as the general-purpose default.
What is the difference between HDFC MoneyBack Plus and HDFC Pixel?+
They cost the same Rs. 500 and both ask for a 750 credit score, so the fee and the bar do not separate them. Pixel is the fully digital card; MoneyBack Plus is the general-purpose rewards card. Neither publishes an interest-free period, and both charge up to 3.75% a month and a 3.5% foreign currency markup.
Which HDFC credit card has the longest interest-free period?+
HDFC Biz First at 55 days, the longest HDFC publishes. PhonePe Uno, Swiggy BLCK, IRCTC and HDFC Shoppers Stop publish 50 days, and Pixel, MoneyBack Plus and Shoppers Stop Black publish nothing at all.
Which HDFC credit card has the lowest interest rate?+
Swiggy BLCK HDFC Bank at 3.5% a month, or 42% a year, which also puts it in the cheapest rate tier in our whole catalogue. Shoppers Stop Black is next at 3.6%, and five cards charge up to 3.75%.
Which HDFC card is best for international travel?+
None of them on cost. Every HDFC card that publishes a foreign currency markup charges 3.5%, the Indian default, which with GST is Rs. 4,130 on each Rs. 1,00,000 spent abroad. Five cards in our catalogue charge 0% markup and none is from HDFC.
Is the Swiggy HDFC card worth Rs. 1,000?+
Only at volume, and only if you clear its Rs. 1,00,000 monthly income bar. It pays the best Swiggy rate in our catalogue and has HDFC's cheapest finance charge at 3.5%, but below roughly Rs. 4,000 a month of ordering a general cashback card returns more net of the Rs. 1,180 fee and works everywhere else too.
How many HDFC credit cards are there?+
Eight in our catalogue: HDFC Shoppers Stop, PhonePe HDFC Bank Uno, HDFC Pixel, HDFC MoneyBack Plus, IRCTC HDFC Bank, HDFC Biz First, Swiggy BLCK HDFC Bank and Shoppers Stop Black HDFC Bank. HDFC issues more cards than we list; these are the ones whose terms we have read and published in full.
