Include a monthly figure and where most of it goes.
Everything worth knowing before you choose. All of it is on this page — open only what you need.
Tell it what you spend on — in a sentence, not a form — and it shortlists from the cards CredSpy tracks, reading the same published figures the rest of the site uses.
For a numeric answer rather than a conversation, the card value calculator prices every card against a monthly basket.
The advisor answers best when the question carries your numbers. "Which card for Rs. 20,000 a month of online shopping and Rs. 6,000 of fuel" produces a ranked answer; "which card is best" cannot.
It is also the fastest way to check a specific mechanic — whether a card's rate is capped, what its waiver threshold is, or whether a category is excluded — without reading a full card page.
It answers well on anything the published terms contain: which card pays most on groceries, what a particular card’s monthly cap is, whether a fee is waivable and at what spend, what the forex markup is. Ask it in your own words — "I spend Rs. 20,000 a month, mostly online, which card" works better than a keyword.
What it cannot do is tell you whether a specific bank will approve you. Approval depends on your file, your existing debt and your history with that bank, none of which is published anywhere. For that, the eligibility checker compares your figures against each issuer’s stated criteria — which is the closest honest answer available without an application.
