This page holds every card CredSpy tracks — 69 cards from 16 Indian banks, across 27 categories. Each one is read from the issuer's published fee schedule and terms, not from a press release.

Fees run from lifetime free to Rs. 20,000 a year. Seven cards cost nothing at all.
Income requirements start at about Rs. 12,500 a month and reach Rs. 3,00,000 for the most premium cards; the middle of the market sits near Rs. 42,000.
33 cards include domestic airport lounge access, usually with a spend condition attached.

Filters narrow the list by fee, category, bank and perk; sorting is by value, never by what a bank pays.

2. How to pick a credit card in India

Start from your spending, not the card. The card value calculator prices every card against your monthly basket, with every cap and exclusion applied.
Check what you qualify for. The eligibility checker scores your income, age and credit score against each issuer's published criteria without a bureau enquiry.
Read the cap and the exclusions, not the headline rate. Fuel, rent, wallet loads and EMI earn nothing on most cards.
Decide whether the fee can be waived. Most annual fees are reversed on an annual spend — Rs. 50,000 on entry cards, Rs. 2,00,000 to Rs. 4,00,000 on premium ones.
Then compare two cards properly on the comparison page.

Which is the best credit card in India in 2026?

There is no single best card — it depends on where your money goes. A heavy online shopper, a frequent flyer and someone who mostly pays bills should each hold a different card. Run your spending through the card value calculator to see which one pays you the most.

What is the minimum salary for a credit card in India?

Entry-level cards start at about Rs. 12,500 to Rs. 15,000 a month. Premium cards ask for Rs. 50,000 or more. Cards issued against a fixed deposit have no income requirement at all.

How many credit cards should I have?

Two or three, covering different spending: one for online shopping, one for travel or fuel, and a no-fee card kept for its credit history. Five or more open cards can slow down a new approval.

Are there lifetime free credit cards in India?
