1. Suryoday Small Finance Bank credit cards in India in 2026

Suryoday is a small finance bank, and the card we track from it is secured: an FD-backed RuPay credit card issued against a fixed deposit with the bank, offered as RuPay Platinum or RuPay Select.

The deposit starts at Rs. 1,000, which is the lowest entry point of any secured card here. Because the deposit is the bank's security, no credit score is assessed, and the money stays yours and keeps earning fixed-deposit interest while it is pledged.

2. What to check before you accept the card

The fee. Suryoday markets the FD-backed card as lifetime free with no hidden charges, and the Key Fact Statement for its RuPay Select variant publishes Rs. 150 plus GST to join and Rs. 150 plus GST a year. Both are the bank's own statements, so ask which variant you are being offered and what it costs.

The reward. The bank says the card pays cashback on spends but publishes no rate, no cap and no exclusion list, so the return cannot be worked out in advance. The reason to take a card like this is the credit line and the bureau record it builds — a secured card reports to the bureaus exactly like an unsecured one.
