A Bank of Baroda credit card on CredSpy means one card today: BOB Cashback, at Rs. 499 a year, paying 5% on online spending and 1% on everything else.

Bank of Baroda also issues an EaseMyTrip travel card at Rs. 599 with two lounge visits a quarter, but that product is a debit card rather than a credit card, so it is listed separately and does not build credit history.

Bank of Baroda publishes no spend-based waiver for BOB Cashback, so the Rs. 499 is a fixed annual cost rather than something spending removes.

At 5% on online spending, that fee is covered once a year's online spending passes about twenty times the fee — a low bar, but worth checking against cards that waive the fee entirely.

BOB Cashback pays 5% on online spending and 1% on other retail spending, credited against the statement rather than as points — so there is no catalogue to learn and nothing expires.

Against the rest of the market, 5% online is competitive: SBI Cashback pays the same rate but caps it at Rs. 2,000 a cycle and charges a higher annual fee.

BOB Cashback includes no complimentary airport lounge visits. The EaseMyTrip debit card does — two a quarter — but as a debit card it neither builds credit history nor offers an interest-free period.

Bank of Baroda publishes no fixed income requirement for BOB Cashback; approval is assessed on your credit profile, and existing Bank of Baroda account holders are approved more readily.

BOB Cashback returns 5% on online spending, which is competitive — but that rate is small against the cost of carrying a balance. Interest applies monthly from the transaction date once the interest-free period lapses, and paying anything less than the full statement balance suspends that period on new purchases.

A card paying 5% online while charging interest on a revolved balance is a net loss for anyone who revolves. Paid in full monthly, it is one of the cheaper ways to earn on e-commerce.

Bank of Baroda publishes a minimum net annual income of Rs. 3,00,000 for BOB Cashback, alongside the usual age and credit profile checks.
